Sony has launched the 55-inch and 65-inch display-variants of the Sony Bravia A8F Series Android TVs in India with Triluminos OLED display panel. The launch assumes importance with several manufacturers pushing the release of smart TVs with trending specifications.
The Sony Bravia A8F is equipped with Triluminos OLED display panel with the ability to offer 4K HDR image quality loaded with Android. The 4K X-Reality Pro engine makes use of an automated algorithm to improve content. The TV also provides support for dual database processing alongside HDR remaster.
Sony Bravia A8F series is integrated with an Acoustic Surface technology paired with One Slate design. The aim of this technology is to enable the TV to deliver richer sound in a thin-bezel structure. The TV ships with a smart subwoofer housed on the rear side, which enables the gadget to produce deep bass.
In addition to subwoofer, the Sony Bravia A8F Series also provides support for HDR10, Dolby Vision including Hybrid Log-Gamma. The company sources revealed to us that the Dolby feature will arrive in the next few months via an OTA update. The remote control bundled with the TV includes dedicated buttons for activating Google Play and Netflix besides volume and channel controls.
While the 55-inch TV is priced at Rs 329000, the 65-inch variant will cost a massive Rs 449000. You will be able to experience and purchase the Sony Bravia A8F Series TVs from all retail stores across India.
