BSNL launches Fibro Combo ULD Broadband plans starting at Rs 777

BSNL has introduced new Broadband plans valued at Rs 799 and Rs 1299 respectively. The new Broadband plans are based on the Fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) technology and are being launched to combat acute competition from Reliance Jio. Reliance is scheduled to disrupt the Internet connectivity with new plans and hence it is essential for the BSNL to introduce new plans in a bid to stay ahead.

The Fibro Combo ULD 777 provides 500GB bandwidth limit at 50Mbps, which is sufficient for normal usage. You will have to pay Rs 777 and the plan carries a 30-day validity. The Fibro Combo ULD 1277 comes with 750GB limit at 100Mbps. After the exhaust of the data limit, you will be able to work with 2Mbps speed.

BSNL is also providing unlimited calling functionality to any mobile and landline network in India for both Fibro Combo ULD plans. However, you will be required to pay one-month charges as the security deposit. You can also avail long-term subscription for the new Broadband plans.

The Fibro Combo ULD 777 will cost Rs 8547, Rs 16317 and Rs 23310 for one, two and three-year packages. Similarly, you will have to pay Rs 14047, Rs 26817 and Rs 38310 for up to 3 years for the Rs 1277 package.

The launch of Fibro Combo ULD plans assumes great significance with the private players like Reliance and Airtel tightening the screws by disrupting the telecom arena. It’s the entry of Reliance Jio, which created a huge ruckus among tech enthusiasts.
