Apple has rolled out the third beta version of the iOS 11.4.1 to developers. It is to be noted that the company released the second beta just one week back. Interestingly, the iOS 11.4 was released three weeks back. The latest iOS 11.4 brings in support for AirPlay 2 and Messages in iCloud.
The update will be available via OTA only if you install the configuration profile from the developer center. Alternatively, you can download the iOS 11.4.1 directly from Apple’s Developer Center.
The iOS 11.4.1 mainly ships with several bug fixes and performance enhancements. If you have installed the original 11.4, then you will experience significant improvements in the functioning of the device. You will not find any major features in the third beta version and the focus has been shifted to iOS 12. The company also introduced iOS 12 beta version for testing purposes.
Going forward, the iOS 11 will be refreshed with several bug fixes and improvements. If you would like to work with new features, you need to install iOS 12. Meanwhile, Apple is gearing up to release several smartphones in September 2018. You can expect the launch of iPhone 9, iPhone 9 Plus with dual cameras on the rear alongside a premium iPhone X. The plus variant will most likely ship with an OLED display, while the standard model will have a LED display.
