Xiaomi has pushed a software update for the recently released Mi Band 3. The latest update brings in the photo mute functionality. As of this writing, the update will be available only for the Chinese version of the Mi Band 3. We expect the company to release a new edition for the International markets. The company will launch a new version for the Indian markets within the next few days.
After the installation of the update, you will be able to mute their smartphones directly from the Mi Band 3. However, the phone should be connected to the wearable. The company added that this new feature will be available on Android followed by iOS.
The Mi Band 3 features a 0.78-inch OLED touch display, which helps you to view the content clearly. The band is resistant to water up to 5ATM. The 110mAh battery is capable of delivering 20 days of standby time upon normal usage. It will take up to 2 hours to charge the wearable.
In addition to the clock, the Mi Band 3 also provides support for calories burned, distance, heart rate, pedometer, sedentary reminder and sleep tracking. The watch issues alert if you are idle for a long time. Moreover, you just need to raise the wrist to view content on the display.
