Amazon India has announced the launch of monthly membership package for Amazon Prime. As per the new offer, you should pay Rs 129 per month to avail all the benefits of Amazon Prime including unlimited free and fast delivery, Bollywood and International titles on Prime Video and Prime exclusive deals.
The annual rate for the Amazon Prime has been retained at Rs 999 per year. The features available with the monthly package are same as yearly but you have the flexibility to pay on a monthly basis. You can avail the benefit when you would like to have.
Commenting on the development, Akshay Sahi, Director & Head of Prime, Amazon India disclosed that the company is excited to launch Prime monthly membership and offer more payment flexibility to customers. The company would like to throw in the same benefits with a monthly touch as with rent, electricity and mobile bills.
If you purchase Amazon Prime, you will be able to avail the benefits of free shipping without any cart limit, latest videos via prime Video, unlimited music through Amazon Music in a wide range of languages such as English, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu. You can now pay on a monthly basis to enjoy the benefits.
To sign up for Amazon Prime, you need to navigate to amazon.in/prime and pay using any one of the payment options. The system is set in such a way that renewals are automated but you can disable this feature. You will have to manually pay at the time fo renewal to avail all the benefits associated with Amazon Prime.
