Xiaomi launched the next-generation Mi Band 3 on May 31 along with Mi 8 flagship smartphone. The latest news is that the company had so far sold out one million Mi Band 3 within 17 days.
Wang Xiang, Senior Vice President at Xiaomi took to Twitter and disclosed that Xiaomi has shipped one million Mi Band 3 in 17 days after the public availability on June 5. He thanked the customers for the constant support. He also requested users to post comments as to how the band benefited them and one lucky winner will get the brand new #MiBand3 wearable.
The main highlight of the Mi Band 3 is the integration of a 0.78-inch OLED display with an improved battery. Moreover, the band also offers an ability to view information just by raising the wrist. It also keeps track of your movements and issues alert if you are sedentary for a long time at a particular location.
According to Xiaomi, the rubber strap was tested 2000 times with different types of buckling and unbuckling. The band is also resistant to water via IP68 and hence you can use it during swimming and under the shower. It also includes a pedometer, heart rate monitor, calorie count and much more.
The Mi Band 3 was initially offered in Black. However, you can purchase Fiery Orange and Deepsea Blue color variants from the official Mi Store.
