Xiaomi has announced that the upcoming MIUI 10 will be made available to 28 devices. It is to be noted that the Global ROM of the MIUI 10 is currently under beta testing and will end on July 24. If you had the luck to test drive Xiaomi Mi 8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2s, you should be already working with the latest MIUI 10. These devices were the first to receive the OTA update.
In addition to the above-mentioned devices, the MIUI 10 will be pushed to 28 devices that include Mi 8 SE, Mi Mix 2, Mi Mix, Mi 6X, Mi 6, Mi 5, Mi Note 2, Redmi Note 5, Redmi S2/Y2, Redmi Note 4X, Redmi 5A, Redmi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi Note 3, Mi Max, Mi Max 2, Mi 5X, Mi Max Prime, Mi 5c, Mi 4s, Mi 4c, Redmi 4X, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi Note 5A Prime, Redmi 5, Redmi 5 Plus.
You can expect the rollout of the MIUI 10 for all the above 28 devices after the end of the beta testing period. The official forum post reveals that the Mi4c will be the first to receive the MIUI 10 update followed by other handsets.
Xiaomi will most likely make available the latest MIUi 10 to older devices before the end of October 2018. To recall, Xiaomi had pushed MIUI 9 to several old smartphones in January. It included the first generation Redmi Note, Redmi 1s and Mi Pad.
You should regularly check for the presence of the update if you are working with the above devices. You will view a message notification, which prompts you to install the update. Before proceeding to install the update, it is highly advisable to backup all the files either to your PC or Xiaomi cloud service. Moreover, you should completely charge the device up to 100 percent to avoid interruption.
