MIUI 10 Global Beta 8.7.5 Rolled Out For Several Xiaomi Smartphones


Xiaomi has rolled out MIUI 10 Global Beta 8.7.5 ROM for eight devices, which includes Mi 6, Mi Mix 2, Redmi S2, Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 5, Mi Mix 2S, Mi 5, Mi Note 2 and Mi Mix smartphones. With this push, the MIUI 10 is now available on 11 Xiaomi devices.

Before proceeding to install the MIUI 10 update, you should backup all the data from your existing handset. It is also advisable to charge the device up to 100 percent to avoid interruption. You should also establish connectivity with Wi-Fi since the overall capacity of the update will be more than 1GB.

If you are running MIUI 7, 8 and 9 Stable ROM, you need to upgrade to MIUI 10 via fastboot method. You will require access to unlocked bootloader. Are you running MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM? You should tap on the Update app and verify for updates.

According to the official changelog, the MIUI 10 Global Beta 8.7.5 includes LDAC functionality for Bluetooth. You will get enhanced sound quality on devices. If you deactivate this feature, then the battery life can be extended. The Mi Music app is being updated to music videos. The update also resolves the translation issue with all languages and translation issues in Russian.
