How to enable Wi-Fi after Android Oreo update in Infinix Note 4?

Infinix Note 4

The much-awaited Android Oreo was recently rolled out to Infinix Note 4 and you should enable Wi-Fi after the installation. We noticed that the Wi-Fi was in a disabled state after the successful installation. My father alerted me when he was not receiving the required notifications as usual. I was surprised to see that the Wi-Fi was not connected with our network. In this article, we will examine the steps required to enable Wi-Fi after Android Oreo update in Infinix Note 4 smartphone.

The first step to enable Wi-Fi is to navigate to the Settings app by selecting the option from the home screen. You should select Network & Internet option as shown below

You will find Not Connected option below Wi-Fi even though the green colored radio button will be OK. This means that you are not connected to the Wi-Fi. This is also evident since you won’t find the Wi-Fi icon on the top bar. You should choose Wi-Fi and select your network name.

You will be prompted to provide your Wi-Fi password. The phone will automatically establish connectivity with Wi-Fi if the provided credentials are correct.

We really don’t know the reasons behind why the Wi-Fi was disabled after the update process. If you are unable to navigate the web or not receiving the required notifications, you should enable Wi-Fi as mentioned above.
