How to unsubscribe to BSNL Pack Voice Chat VAS service?

BSNL

BSNL is really a good mobile company and is owned by Government. The company recently added Pack Voice Chat service. However, there will be confusing situations because you will be automatically included to receive Value Added Services such as Pack Voice Chat in the name of songs, voice chats and much more. If you happen to receive any messages stating that BSNL has deducted any amount from your Prepaid balance, you need to immediately unsubscribe to avoid billing again.

You should follow the steps mentioned below

Step 1

Send an SMS to 155223 with content STOP
You should not use SMS STOP. You should use only STOP

Step 2

You will receive a message like as shown below
You are currently active on 1. Voice Chat followed by a few difficult to grasp sentence.

Step 3

Just reply with 1 as a follow up to the previous SMS

The Pack Voice Chat service will be deactivated within few seconds and BSNL will send you a confirmation message. You won’t be charged again for VAS services. You can also search on Google to know more information about VAS services.

BSNL introduced Vale added Service to provide additional services to people. The move is also done to combat heavy competition from private telecom operators. If you are subscribed the any of VAS services, then you will be charged more money from your balance. You can unsubscribe by following the instructions.
