Vodafone has deployed Vodafone SuperNet 4G network coupled with enhanced technology to facilitate a personalized and close-up feel of the Rath Yatra for the residents of Gujarat. The live broadcast of the entire Rath Yatra will e delivered on Giant LED screen housed near temple complex.
As part of the initiative, Vodafone stores at Shivranjani and Stadium in Ahmedabad will have special Virtual Reality enabled Rath Yatra zones that will offer a customized experience. Moreover, you will be able to experience inner sanctum darshan via 360-degree Live Virtual Reality technology near Lord Jagannath temple in Ahmedabad. You will be provided with VR headsets and mobile devices through which you can enjoy the whole proceedings.
Vodafone will also set up a Video Experience Zone near the main entrance of the Jagannath Temple. The special zones will deliver audio-visual effect as if you are indeed inside the sanctum in the presence of the Lord. You will be able to rewind and forward the content.
Commenting on the development, Abhijit Kishore, Business Head – Gujarat, Vodafone India disclosed that Vodafone India has developed an amazing technology by leveraging the potential of the Vodafone SuperNet 4G network with global technology expertise as part of the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath. The intention of the initiative is to improve the spiritual experience of not only the customers but also residents of Gujarat and devotees of Lord Jagannath.
Kishore added that the company is making all efforts to being the glimpse of the lord via Virtual Reality at select Vodafone stores in the city. He added that devotees can experience the real sanctum sanctorum via the LED display placed near the temple entrance.
