Reliance has announced JioPhone Monsoon Hungama offer starting July 21, 5.01 AM. Reliance JioPhone is a feature phone released in 2017. The offer is currently available now for grabs on the official portal – jio.com. The company has provided a list of all the eligible feature phones but they also revealed that you can exchange any feature phone with a charger in working condition.
The handset looks like a standard feature phone but with smart features. You can purchase JioPhone only for Rs 501 starting July 21, 5.01 AM. It is to be noted that Jio is effectively selling the handset for Rs 501 and hence the timing has been picked up.
The catch is that you will be able to avail the benefit only if you exchange an old working feature phone as part of the JioPhone Monsoon Hungama. The old device should be in working condition with display intact. You can express your interest by navigating to jio.com and providing your details. The company will reveal the terms and conditions on July 21.
You will have an opportunity to either pay the amount or opt for cash on delivery. We will know about the steps required to avail the offer tomorrow. To express your interest, you should provide first name, last name, email, phone number and pincode after selecting your entity. You should also accept the terms and conditions.
After obtaining the new JioPhone after the exchange, you need to opt for either Rs 49 and Rs 153 plan that provides 1GB and 42GB data respectively. Both plans carry 28 days validity with free voice calls, unlimited data and access to jio apps. While the Rs 49 plan carries 50 SMS, the Rs 153 plan offers an unlimited SMS.
The JioPhone is equipped with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, an alphanumeric keypad, headphone port, torchlight, FM Radio, ringtones. Moreover, the handset ships with a 2MP camera paired with a 0.3MP front-facing camera. You can access call history and contact list. The JioPhone also includes a dedicated microphone and speaker.
The JioPhone ships with a dedicated voice assistant using which you can perform calling operations, SMS, music, cinema playback and web navigation with the help of the voice. If you have an unused feature phone, you can get it exchanged for a new JioPhone starting July 21.
