This includes Electricity, Landline, Broadband, Gas & Postpaid bills offered by state-owned companies and popular mobile service providers. You will be able to pay bills in a fast, convenient and secure manner. In addition to the standard payment methods, you can also make use of Amazon Pay to pay the bills.
You can pay bills issued by service providers such as BSES, Tata Power, BESCOM, BSNL, Airtel, Vodafone, Reliance Jio, ACT, Hathway, IGL, and MGL. Moreover, you can recharge mobiles, DTH services including travel and movie booking via Amazon.
The main reason behind the introduction of Bill Payments facility is to transform India into a digital economy. As a customer, you can complete all the digital transactions right from your home. The move is also to fulfill the dreams and aspirations of the Digital India initiative.
As part of the launch offer, Amazon is providing 10 percent cashback up to Rs 75 on payment of Electricity bills. You will get 10 percent cashback up to Rs 50 on landline, broadband, and postpaid bills. If you recharge prepaid mobile for Rs 198, you will receive a cashback of Rs 50.
