Atlassian Corporation (NASDAQ:TEAM) has opened an office in Bengaluru and appointed Dinesh Ajmera as Head of Engineering and Site Lead. If you are unaware, Ajmera was the Amazon and Walmart Labs executive. The company is gearing up to expand the office into a world-class R&D and customer support center during the next several years. Moreover, the company will soon start hiring executives and engineers for engineering, product management, and design.
Atlassian is well known for their collaboration and productivity software such as Jira Software, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Trello. These tools will help teams all over the world to organize, discuss, and complete shared work. Some of the clients of Atlassian are Lyft, Spotify, and NASA in addition to 125,000 companies making extensive use of the Atlassian’s collaboration products to help their teams work better together.

Ajmera joined Atlassian in June and brings with him 18 years of global industry experience with renowned companies such as Amazon, Walmart Labs, Blackbuck, Souq and Oracle. He has deep experience in leading teams that develop platforms for eCommerce, Online Marketplaces, Customer Experience in addition to real-time collaboration in emerging markets across India, US and the Middle East.
He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Los Angeles. Some of the other key management and leadership executives are Vandana Abraham, Sonia Parandekar, Manoj Kenadath, Piyush Vasudev and Mukund Joshi.
