Amazfit has launched Amazfit Cor fitness tracker in India at Rs 3999. The launch assumes significance with the Xiaomi-owned company launching two fitness bands two months back. The main highlight of the Amazfit Cor fitness tracker is the integration of a PPG heart rate sensor.
The Amazfit Cor is equipped with a 1.23-inch (80×160) IPS 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 3 protected display coupled with anti-fingerprint coating. The band is manufactured using a combination of polycarbonate and 316L Stainless Steel. The embedded Triaxial Acceleration Sensor is capable of tracking sleep, steps, distance, calories, stopwatch, alarm clock, weather, and countdown.
The Cor tracker is also capable of displaying messages and notifications from a wide range of social media platforms. You can easily sync the fitness tracker via the Mi Fit app via Bluetooth 4.0 LE connectivity. The integrated 170mAh battery is capable of delivering a battery life of up to 12 days.
Xiaomi smartwatches will deliver massive standby life and hence you can expect the same from Amazfit Cor. It is possible to charge the battery within 2.5 hours using the charging dock. Like in the case of other fitness trackers, the Cor is resistant to water up to 5 ATM and hence you can use the tracker even during swimming.
