Vodafone Aagomoni To Kickstart With Live Performances From Hariharan And Others

Vodafone Aagomoni will bring another LIVE nightlong grand musical extravaganza to dazzle and delight the privileged few invitees, on the eve of the ongoing Mahalaya. The arrival of Mahalaya heralds the countdown to one of Kolkata’s most iconic cultural events. Vodafone Aagomoni 2018 will take place on October 7, 2018, at Science City Auditorium, Kolkata from 7.30 PM onwards.

Vodafone will bring together an electric mix of music and dance legends comprising of Hari Haran, Rituparna Sengupta & troupe, Debajyoti Mishra, Rupankar Bagchi & Konineeca Banerjee, Lopamudra & Subhamita, Band Advaita, Bickram Ghosh and much more.

Vodafone Aagomoni 2018 will kickstart with the traditional lamp lighting by Shivan Bhargava, Business Head – Kolkata and Rest of Bengal, Vodafone Idea and Rituparna Sengupta. After that, there will be a conventional welcome performance with the rhythm of the dhakis. The beat of the dhaks alongside the chanting of slokas will set the tone for the rest of the evening.

As per the Digitial India vision, Vodafone India has introduced ‘Buddy’, a humanoid, to engage with patrons at the Aagomoni celebrations. Buddy aims to provide a seamless and engaging brand experience for its customers. Moreover, dual Buddy humanoids will interact with patrons, guide them to the MyVodafone App Experience Zone, play fun quizzes including the ability to shake leg at popular songs.

Bhargava added that Vodafone Idea is delighted to present the 18th edition of Vodafone Aagomoni, an event that is as young as this millennium. The company is proud to host Kolkata’s signature pre Durgotsav event has been a matter of pride and also to enforce our credo to connect with Bengal.
