Coca-Cola inks partnership with Vodafone Idea & eBest IoT to introduce Connected Coolers

Coca-Cola India has established a partnership with Vodafone Idea Business Services to introduce state-of-the-art Connected Coolers across the country. The Connected Coolers will be on display at the Vodafone Idea stall at IMC2018 in Aerocity, New Delhi from October 25 to 27, 2018.

The IoT centric range of Connected Coolers will provide a capability for Coca-Cola to understand consumer behavior and also to make use of the insights to enhance the consumer experience. The Connected Coolers will be powered by Vodafone SuperIoT, which is an industry-first solution that enables end-to-end management of device, application, connectivity, service platform in addition to delivery of support and security systems.

The technology will also equip Coca-Cola’s partners not only to manage inventory but also sales tracking. You can also monitor usage pattern, location tracking to enable stakeholders to enhance sales and customer experience.

Commenting on the development, Sanjay Rawal, Chief Information Officer for Coca-Cola India and South-West Asia disclosed that the portfolio is expanding and the company is leveraging the power of technology to get consumer insights for consumer enhancement. The connected cooler is the next milestone in the journey of the company and it paves way for the digitizing the marketplace and establishing a connected environment with consumers. The company is delighted to establish partnerships with Vodafone Idea Business Services and eBest IoT.

Responding to media, Nick Gliddon, Chief Enterprise Business Offer, Vodafone Idea Business Services disclosed that the company is pleased to establish a partnership with a global leader like Coca-Cola India to bring the benefits of Internet of Things closer to the consumers. The digital collaboration will enable people to harness the power of IoT, which drives innovation and growth.

It is to be noted that the pilot for the Connected Coolers has been successfully completed and they will be introduced in phased manner across the country.
