Microsoft Windows 10 Build 18267 Gets Better With Enhanced Search Module

Microsoft has released Windows 10 build 18267 to Windows Insiders in the fast ring with an enhanced search functionality. As a member of the fast ring, you will be eligible to download early preview versions of Windows 10 as and when available. The main highlight of the new update is that the search feature has been overhauled with new improvements.

Microsoft has incorporated a refreshed search module, which automatically performs searching of files and folders in Windows Search. Tagged as Enhanced Search, you should provide a facility for the Windows 10 to manually index file directories located inside your PC.

Microsoft has included this new feature in the latest Windows 10 build 18267 being rolled out to Windows Insiders in the fast ring. However, the UI of the feature might change when the Redmond-based software giant finally releases the new version.

Microsoft heavily depends upon the feedback of customers and the way you work with this feature will depend upon the end users. There is also a possibility of the company omitting this new feature if there is not much value. We expect the new search feature to be integrated with the April 2019 update.

In addition to the updated search feature, the Windows 10 build 18267 also includes few minor improvements, enhancements, and other bug fixes. We will continue to monitor the developments and provide you with updates.
