Apple rumored to launch LCD display iPhone in 2019

iPhone

Apple is scheduled to launch three new iPhone models in 2019 including the one with LCD display. The news assumes importance with the company finding it hard to make adequate sales for the iPhone released in September 2018. According to sources, the upcoming iPhone will be equipped with LCD display to compete with XR variant. The company is also planning to integrate improved camera features in addition to standard capabilities.

The company has decided to embed LCD display with one of the iPhone to compensate the poor sales of iPhone XR. The bad sales of iPhone XR have drastically reduced the revenue to a large extent.

According to industry analysts, there is a drop in demand for the iPhone XR in China and other emerging countries because of the pricing. The stocks of the company went down 10 percent, which is the first in the last 12 years.

Going forward, Apple will most likely incorporate OLED display for iPhones by dropping the conventional LCD display. You can expect an OLED display model in 2020. However, for the time being, the company is focussed to push sales of iPhone and has devised plans to increase the demand among tech-savvy people in countries such as India.
