Cubbit cloud storage to hit Kickstarter on February 26

Cubbit has announced the launch of a distributed cloud management service and will be available on Kickstarter starting February 26. The main advantage of the Cubbit is that you can store data with zero monthly fees alongside a minimal learning curve.

The company is scheduled to launch the product on Kickstarter on February 26 with exclusive access to the first backers. You can provide your email address and the company will notify you when the product goes live on the crowdfunding platform.

The Cubbit cell can be connected to a router easily. You will receive 500GB of cloud storage immediately using which you can sync and backup your valuable files via not only desktop but also mobile. You can also connect external hard drives to expand the storage up to 4TB. You just need to pay for the Cubbit cell and the system will take care of the rest.

The Cubbit cell provides an ability to open up to 4 independent accounts to enable you to share the content with your friends and colleagues. The files will be stored on the cloud. According to company sources, the Cubbit cell is 10x greener than data centers and will reduce the global carbon footprint. The company claims that they have got 2500 pre-orders from 55 countries. The product will launch on Kickstarter starting next week and you will be able to experience the product within 3 months.
