HMD Global has announced the launch of Nokia 1 Plus at MWC 2019 in Red, Blue, and Black color variants. Touted as an upgrade to Nokia 1, the Nokia 1 Plus is pre-loaded with Android 9.0 Pie based on Android Go.
The Nokia 1 Plus features a 5.45-inch FWVGA+ (480 x 960) IPS display, MediaTek MT6739WW processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB/16GB internal storage loaded with Android 9 Pie based on Android Go edition. According to company sources, the software integrated with the newly launched handset has been optimized in such a way that it doesn’t lag. Moreover, the phone doesn’t consume plenty of resources on the background.
The rear side features an 8MP camera with LED Flash, while the front camera offers a 5MP sensor with fixed focus sensor. The device draws power via the 2500mah battery, which is capable of delivering an extended standby time.
The Nokia 1 Plus is manufactured using 3D nanotextured design coupled with fully carbonate unibody. The handset will be available for sale soon at a budget-friendly price of $99.
