Xiaomi has slashed the price of Redmi Note 6 Pro ahead of the upcoming launch of Redmi Note 7. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is listed on both Mi.com and Flipkart for Rs 11999. Previously, the cost was Rs 12999 and the updated price is seen as a big setback for all customers who purchased the device in the past.
It is common for Xiaomi to revise the cost ahead of a new launch. This was seen during the launch of Redmi Note 6 Pro as well in November 2017. We expect the company to slowly phase out the currently available Redmi Note 6 Pro within two months when the sale of redmi Note 7 picks up.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage is priced at Rs 11999, while the 6GB RAM model with 64GB internal storage is available for Rs 13999. Xiaomi also provides protection against accidental damages with Mi Screen Protect starting at Rs 799. You can also avail no cost EMI and Mi Exchange offers. Xiaomi also established a partnership with Reliance Jio to provide cashback of up to Rs 2400 with up to 6TBG of Jio 4G data.
The Redmi Note 6 Pro is equipped with a 6.26-inch FHD+ (2280×1080, 403PPI, 500-nits, 19:9) display, Snapdragon 636 processor, Adreno 509 graphics processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB expandable eMMC 5.1 storage powered by a 4000mah battery. You will be able to extend the battery up to 256GB and the device provides support for 5V/2A charging.
The rear side features dual camera comprising of 12MP and 5MP sensors, while the front-facing camera bears a combination of 20MP and 2MP camera sensors. The rear side provides support for a wide range of modes such as HDR, panorama, burst including face recognition. The selfie camera offers AI capabilities with selfie timer. The device ships with all the standard connectivity features and sensors.
