Realme 3 Pro India Launch: Features, Specifications and Rumors

Realme is gearing up to launch Realme 3 Pro on April 19, 2019. Touted as an upgraded version of Realme 3, the upcoming Realme 3 Pro will ship with 48MP rear camera identical to that of Redmi Note 7 Pro. Xiaomi recently launched Redmi Note 7 Pro with a 48MP camera and the sale has started on Flipkart.

According to rumors, the Realme 3 Pro is expected to ship with an improved chipset and will be designed with a glass back. You will be able to work with a device with an elegant rear side. Talking about the optics, the Realme 3 Pro is expected to bear dual camera comprising of 48MP and 8MP sensors. The camera sensor provides support for 4K video recording, portrait mode, LED flash including other features.

The Realme 3 Pro will be equipped with a 6.3-inch IPS FHD+ waterdrop display with 19.5:9 aspect ratio. If you had worked with Realme 3, you know that the device includes waterdrop display. Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro also includes a waterdrop display.

Under the hood, the upcoming Realme 3 Pro will be most likely integrated with a Snapdragon 675 processor. There are reports that the company will ship the new handset with Snapdragon 710 processor. It remains to be seen as to which chipset the company includes with the new smartphone.

The phone draws power via the embedded 3500mah battery with support for VOOC fast charging. Interestingly, the device will provide support for Oppo’s VOOC fast charging technology and the company has borrowed it from the parent company – Oppo. You will work with ColorOS 6.0 based on Android 9 Pie operating platform.

The Realme 3 Pro will surely be a competitor to the recently released Redmi Note 7 Pro. With 48MP camera at its disposal, the smartphones will attract tech-savvy users. Going forward, we can see the evolution of more smartphones integrated with the 48MP camera.

The Realme 3 Pro will be priced starting at Rs 13990 but the cost of the existing Realme 2 Pro will be slashed. Flipkart has already reduced the price of Realme 2 Pro but you can expect more discounting.
