Hotstar has added an exciting TVC to the VIVO IPL 2019 campaign under the hashtag name #KoiYaarNahiFar. The #KoiYaarNahiFar has been designed and developed by the DDB Mudra Group. The #KoiYaarNahiFar TVC features a small-town Indian superhero played by actor Shashank Arora. The ad invites Arora’s other superhero friends to watch the game with him.
On the #KoiYaarNahiFar TVC, the friends of actor Shashank Arora are stuck using their powers for some underwhelming, household work. This makes it difficult even for the ostensibly powerful local superhero group to come together.
Towards the end, Hotstar establishes connectivity with the superheroes through its first-ever social cricket-watching experience. The purpose is to ensure that they don’t miss out on the unmatched joy of watching the game with each other. The new TVC has been rolled out in Tamil, Hindi, and Telugu and is also available across all social media platforms of Hotstar.
With #KoiYaarNahiFar, Hotstar is bringing people together irrespective of their location giving viewers the opportunity to invite their friends and family to the streaming platform. You can also watch matches and participate in the Watch N Play game together. Moreover, you will be able to compete and check where you are standing on the refreshed new social leaderboard. The winners of the Watch ‘N Play games can redeem their points in partnership with Amazon Pay.
Hotstar has garnered 135 million viewers in the first three days of the tournament, which is 120 percent increase compared with the previous year. The latest statistics is 2.2x the reach and 2.2X the watch time of the first three days when compared with the Vivo IPL 2018. Hotstar aims to reach 300 million viewers through the course of VIVO IPL 2019.
