Samsung Galaxy A2 Core Launched: All you need to know

Samsung has released Samsung Galaxy A2 Core pre-loaded with Android Go operating platform and is priced at Rs 5290. Samsung has designed the smartphone in such a way with minimal specifications and also aimed at the budget segment. The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is designed using plastic body coupled with chunkier bezels surrounding the display.

The Samsung Galaxy A2 Core is equipped with a 5-inch qHD (960×540) display, MediaTek Exynos 7870 processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android Pie Go Edition. The capacity is less at 1 GB because of the addition of Android Go. You will be able to extend the storage up to 256GB via microSD card. The processor runs at a clock speed of 1.6GHz, which is sufficient for running low-level programs.

While the rear side offers a 5MP camera, the front-facing camera bears a 5MP camera with LED Flash. The handset draws power via the integrated 2600mAh battery, which is capable of delivering an extended standby time.

In addition to 4G LTE, the Samsung Galaxy A2 Core also provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, FM Radio including traditional headphone port. The smartphone includes a fingerprint sensor using which you can easily unlock the display.

The advantage of the device is that the weight of the phone is 142 grams, which is low when compared to other competing smartphones.
