Nokia 4.2 Launched In India: Everything you need to know

HMD Global has announced the launch of Nokia 4.2 smartphone in India. Originally showcased at the MWC 2019, the Nokia 4.2 features notch display coupled with dual rear cameras. Moreover, the smartphone also carries a dedicated Google Assistant button flavored with Android Pie operating platform.

The Nokia 4.2 is equipped with a 5.7-inch HD+ (1520×720, 19:9, 295PPI) water-drop notch-enabled IPS display, Snapdragon 439 processor, Adreno 505 graphics processor, 3GB RAM and 32GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android Pie based on Android One. You will be able to extend the storage up to 400GB via microSD card. The chipset is manufactured using 12nm process, which reduces the heat to a large extent.

The rear side features dual rear cameras comprising of 13MP (f/2.2 aperture) primary and 2MP secondary depth sensor. You will be able to shoot FHD videos at 30fps. The front side bears an 8MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture.

The handset borrows power via the integrated 3000mAh battery, which is capable of delivering an extended backup time. The rear side features a dedicated fingerprint sensor. Unlike traditional smartphones, the Nokia 4.2 ships with an oval-shaped fingerprint sensor. Hence, you can work with a device with a difference.

In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Nokia 4.2 also provides support for Bluetooth 4.2, FM Radio, GPS including traditional headphone port. The Nokia 4.2 will be available in Black and Pink Sand color variants at Rs 10990. The sale of the smartphone has been started and will be shortly available in offline retail stores within the next few days.
