Xiaomi has officially launched Xiaomi Redmi 7A smartphone in China and is available in Blue and Black color variants. Xiaomi is expected to announce the RAM and storage capacities including the price on May 28. The main highlight of the Redmi 7A is the addition of Snapdragon 439 processor coupled with a 13MP rear camera.
The Redmi 7A features a 5.45-inch IPS HD+ (1440×720, 18:9) display, Snapdragon 439 processor powered by 4000mAh battery. The smartphone is capable of extending up to 256GB via microSD card slot. The phone also provides support for 10W charging technology. The Redmi 7A beats an exclusive eye protection mode, which automatically filters harmful blue rays.
While the rear side features a 13MP camera, the front-facing camera offers a 5MP sensor. The rear camera provides support for PDAF, AU beautification including the ability to beautify filters. You have to depend upon face unlock since there is no fingerprint sensor.
In addition to 4G VoLTE, the Xiaomi Redmi 7A provides support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS including traditional headphone port. The device comes preloaded with MIUI 10 based on Android 9 Pie operating platform. You can work with the phone even during the rainy season because of the P2i splash-resistant coating.
