Microsoft Pushes Windows 10 build 18362.145 For Windows Insiders

Microsoft has released Windows 10 build 18362.145 cumulative update for Windows Insiders in the Slow and Release preview rings. According to Microsoft, the latest Windows 10 build 18362.145 update provides improvements related to Bluetooth, Direct3D and Night Light mode.

The Windows 10 build 18362.145 addresses a problem associated with Custom URI Schemes for Application Protocol handlers. The update also prevents certain apps from automatically launching when you set folder redirection on the network. If the Night light mode turns off during changing of display mode, then the issue has been addressed in this release.

The Windows 10 build 18362.145 resolved an issue that causes distortion of a full-screen game when the Microsoft Game bar is visible on top of the relevant game. The issues related to Bluetooth peripheral devices have been fixed.

The latest preview update also resolves issues that caused event 7600 in the Domain Name System (DNS) server event log to feature an unreadable server name. If the DPI of the guest doesn’t match the host, then the issue has been resolved.

During installation, external USD devices might be assigned to an incorrect drive and this issue has been resolved. The latest update prevents an application protocol URL from being opened when hosted on an Intranet page. The update also addresses an issue with BranchCache in distributed cache mode. The update also resolved issues pertaining to Direct3D applications and games, Windows catalog file creation and much more.

Even though May 2019 update is currently available to all Windows 10 users, the Windows 10 build 18362.145 cumulative update is available only for Slow and Release Preview Insiders. It is advisable to capture backup up
