Asus has started to roll out a firmware update for the flagship Asus Zenfone Max M2 smartphone. With firmware version 16.2018.1905.42, the Asus Zenfone Max M2 gets Google Security Patch May 2019. After the installation of the Google Security Patch May 2019, your device will work with improved stability and security.
The ASUS Zenfone Max M2 smartphone is equipped with a 6.26-inch HD+ (1520 x 720) display, Snapdragon 632 processor, 3GB RAM, 32GB expandable internal storage loaded with Android Oreo 8.1 operating platform. You will be able to extend the storage up to 2TB via microSD card.
The rear side features dual camera comprising of 13MP and 2MP sensors, while the front-facing camera bears an 8MP sensor. The handset borrows power via the embedded 4000mAh battery. The 13MP rear camera includes f/1.8 aperture coupled with 1.12um and 5P lens. The 2MP secondary camera included a dedicated depth sensor with support for EIS and Portrait. The handset provides support for all major connectivity sensors and sensors.
You should note that the Google Security Patch May 2019 update will be available in a phased manner via FOTA. It will take few days for the update to hit your handset. Alternatively, you can also manually navigate to the Settings menu to check for the presence of the update.
