ASUS has launched ASUS VivoBook 14 (X412) and VivoBook 15 (X512) in India starting at Rs 33990 and is listed for sale on Flipkart. With only a few days left for the official launch of Asus 6Z in India, the company has ventured into the laptop segment as well. Asus announced the launch of new ZenBook series at the recently concluded Computex 2019.

The newly launched VivoBook 14 and VivoBook 15 laptops comprise of a 14-inch and 15.6-inch frameless four-sided NonoEdge display with 87% and 88% screen-to-body ratio. You will be able to experience stunning visuals from any angle. The integration of ASUS True2Life Video Technology helps to enhance the clarity, color, and contrast of the videos.

The VivoBook 14 and 15 will carry up to 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce MX250 discrete graphics processor, 1TB hard drive storage coupled with up to 512GB SSD storage. With the help of the SSD, your laptop will boot quickly.

The laptop has been specifically manufactured for high-speed web browsing because of the addition of dual-band Wi-Fi 5 802.11ac. You will be able to browse up to 867Mbps, which is 6x faster than the standard 802.11n. The laptop will be useful for video streaming and e-learning purposes.

Talking about the battery backup, the VivoBook 14 and 15 draws power via a dual-cell 37Whr lithium-ion polymer battery, which is capable of delivering up to 10 hours of working time. The addition of fast charging support helps you to recharge the laptop within 50 minutes. The company claims that you can recharge up to 60 percent but it remains to be seen whether this claim is true or false.

The Asus VivoBook 14 and 15 ships with ASUS ErgoLift hinge, which provides a natural typing position without abnormal pain. The keyboard will be elevated up to 2-degrees without causing any problem to the display. The touchpad is designed to provide support for Windows 10 gestures alongside handwriting recognition. The blower style cooling design helps in the dissipation of the heat to a large extent from not only CPU but also GPU.

In addition to the USB 3.1 Type-A port, the Asus VivoBook 14 provides support for USB Type-C, HDMI, headphone port and microSD card reader. The laptops will be available on Flipkart in a wide range of color options starting at Rs 33990 for the 15-inch variant. If you would like to buy the 15-inch model, you should shell out Rs 55990.
