T-Mobile Pushes Android 9 Pie For LG V40 ThinQ Smartphone

T-Mobile has rolled out Android 9 Pie software update for the LG V40 ThinQ smartphone. The update is currently rolling out to the LG V40 ThinQ devices sold by AT&T, Verizon, and US Cellular. Moreover, the Android 9 Pie update is also being made available to the unlocked versions of the handset in the US and Europe.

In addition to Android 9 Pie, the update includes several bug fixes, security and system improvements. You can manually check for the presence of the update by tapping the Settings option. The update is being delivered in such a way that it runs automatically on June 26, between 12 AM and 3 AM.

The size of the Android 9 Pie update is around 1796.3MB and hence you should make use of Wi-Fi to install the update. You should not use mobile connectivity since the update will eat your bandwidth. It is advisable to free up 4GB of disk space to pave way for the smooth installation.
