Honor 10 Lite

Honor has started to push EMUI 9.1 update based on Android Pie for the Honor 10 Lite and 20i smartphones. The development comes within days after the official rollout of EMUI 9.1 for the Huawei Mate 20 X smartphone. If you are working with either Honor 10 Lite or Honor 20i, you should check for the presence of the update. The company will throw a notification message and will be visible on the device.

The EMUI 9.1 update is based on Android Pie and provides support for GPU Turbo 3.0 technology. You will be able to configure video ringtones for specific contacts including the ability to activate AI-enabled voice assistant. You can activate voice assistant by long pressing the power button.

Like in the case of the Huawei Mate 20 X smartphone, the EMUI 9.1 update for Honor 10 Lite or Honor 20i is currently being rolled out in China. You can expect the availability of the update in other regions within the next few days.

If the update is made available for your device, you will view a message notification. Alternatively, you can check for the presence of the update by tapping the Settings menu. It is advisable to charge the device upto 100 percent and free up atleast 5GB of disk space to avoid interruption.
