Microsoft has rolled out the first version of the Windows 10 19H2 build for Windows Insiders in the Slow ring. The company revealed that there are no new features included with the Windows 10 19H2 build. However, the product team has added that they have introduced two features behind the scene for OEM manufacturers and will be available in a phased manner.
The Windows 10 19H2 build will be only available for Windows Insiders in the Slow ring. Moreover, the user should have installed May 2019 update prior to proceeding to install the new build. Interestingly, the update also includes the KB4501375 patch issued only few days back.
The Windows 10 19H2 build will be in the form of a cumulative update. Hence, you won’t find any complex Windows installation process and the new update will be installed just like a standard Windows Update. The Redmond-based software giant also disclosed that all future updates will also be pushed in the same format.
Microsoft is currently involved in testing a new Controlled Feature Rollouts (CFR) system, which is exclusively designed to gather improved feedback from users. The system lays stress on the overall build quality so that the company can improve Windows 10.
Going forward, the new Windows 10 updates will be made available by deactivating few features. The main aim of these new features is to ensure smooth installation of the upcoming updates of Windows 10.
