OnePlus 6T and OnePlus 6 Gets Better With OxygenOS 9.0.15 and OxygenOS 9.0.7 Updates

OnePlus has started to push OxygenOS 9.0.15 update for the OnePlus 6T and OxygenOS 9.0.7 for the OnePlus 6 smartphones. The update will be made available via OTA in a phased manner. You will view a message notification when the update hits the respective OnePlus 6 and OnePlus 6T smartphones.

The OxygenOS 9.0.15 and OxygenOS 9.0.7 includes improved screen rotation capabilities coupled with a screen recorder module. You can access the recorder by navigating to Quick Settings | Screen Recorder option. Moreover, your device will be updated to Android Security Patch 2019.6, which is the latest version. The latest update also brings in support for VoLTE and VoWiFi for Telia Denmark.

The company revealed that they have improved the user experience after gather feedback from users. The product team managed to optimize and improve several key areas.

Like in the case of all other previous instances, the latest update will be available in an incremental manner. Hence, the OTA bits will reach only a small cross-section of users followed by a wider rollout. If you are lucky, you will receive an update message notification.

The OnePlus 6T is equipped with a 6.41-inch (1080 x 2340) Optic AMOLED Corning Gorilla Glass 6 display, Snapdragon 845 processor, Adreno 630 graphics processor, 6GB/8GB RAM coupled with 128GB and 256GB expandable internal storage variants.

The smartphone is pre-loaded with OxygenOS 9.0.5 based on Android 9.0 Pie operating platform. The handset draws power via the embedded 3700mAh battery with support for 20W fast-charging battery.

While the rear side features dual camera comprising of 16MP and 20MP sensors with f/1.7 aperture, the front-facing camera offers a 16MP sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The camera provides support for PDAF, OIS, HDR, Panorama, Auto-HDR and Gyro-EIS technologies. You will be able to capture up to 2160P videos at 30 and 60fps using the rear camera. The selfie camera helps you to snap FHD videos at 30fps.
