ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced that the next-generation ROG Phone II will ship with Snapdragon 855 Plus Mobile Platform. According to company sources, the company revealed that the Asus ROG Phone II will be the first gaming smartphone to be powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus processor.

The Snapdragon 855 Plus Mobile Platform is designed using a 7nm manufacturing process, which yields less heat. The Adreno 640 graphics processor will deliver 15 % faster graphics performance than the current Snapdragon 855 Mobile Platform.
