Asus has officially launched Asus ROG Phone 2 in China. Touted as the next-generation gaming smartphone, the Asus ROG Phone 2 is powered by Snapdragon 855 Plus processor. The phone will be available in six variants via JD.com starting July 31 at a price of CNY 3499 for the 8GB RAM model with 128GB internal storage.
The Asus ROG Phone 2 features a 6.59-inch FHD+ (2340×1080) AMOLED display, Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, up to 12GB RAM, 128GB internal storage alongside an in-display fingerprint sensor. The chipset runs at a clock speed of 2.9GHz, which helps you to work with the device easily and without any lags.
The display integrated with ROG Phone 2 is capable of delivering 120Hz refresh rate paired with the 1-ms response time. You will be able to open several apps just as you tap on it the relevant icon.
The Asus ROG Phone 2 offers dual camera sensors comprising of 48MP primary camera and a 13MP secondary sensors respectively. The 125-degree field of view helps you to capture amazing visuals. On the front, the device carries a 24MP camera.
The Asus ROG Phone 2 is powered by a 6000mAh battery with support for Quick Charge 4.0 technology. The addition of AeroActive cooler fan is capable of reducing the temperature to a large extent. Asus also released new versions of the ROG Kunai Gamepad and TwinView dock.
Talking about the pricing, the ROG Phone 2 Enjoy Peace in Beijing version with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage is available at CNY 3699. The 12GB model with 128GB storage will cost CNY 5999. The Enjoy Peace variant with 12GB RAM and 128GB storage will cost CNY 6199. While you can purchase Asus ROG Phone 2 Zhizun version for CNY 7999, the Asus ROG Phone 2 Esports Armour version will be up for grabs at CNY 12999.
