Google Nest Mini with wall mount capability to launch alongside Pixel 4

Google is gearing up to launch Google Nest Mini smart speaker. Touted to be the successor to Google Home Mini, the upcoming Google Nest Mini will carry a traditional headphone port alongside wall mounting capability. You can expect the launch of Google nest Mini along with the Pixel 4 smartphone in October. According to reports, the Google Nest Mini will deliver an improved audio output when compared to the current counterpart.

The Google Nest Mini will ship with wall mounting capability bundled inside the product package. The news was originally reported by 9to5Google, which is a reputed source. However, we need to wait until the company releases the smart speaker. You will be able to hang the speaker using the screws on the wall just like a wall clock.

We don’t have any information as to whether the speaker will look like a wall clock but the chances are bleak. The design will be identical to that of the existing Google Home Mini but you can expect bigger sound output with maximum volume enhanced bass. That said, the wall mounts for the Google Home Mini speaker are already available on online platforms. There are companies that exclusively manufacture wall mounts for not only Google Home Mini but also Amazon Echo.

Unlike Google Home Mini, the Google Nest Mini will ship with a 3.5mm headphone port. You can either connect an external speaker or smartphone using the AUX cable. The Amazon Echo Dot and Amazon Echo ships with a 3.5mm audio port, which makes it a good buy.

Amazon has been continuously working to expand the Echo smart speaker series but google has not yet released any new products after the launch of Home Mini and Home. It’s time for the search engine giant to push new releases to stay in the competitive smart speaker field where Amazon has occupied nearly 90 percent of the market share. Google is also reportedly planning to integrate proximity sensor, which helps the speaker to detect your presence.

To recall, Google had announced the plan to launch Nest Mini at the Google I/O conference. Google will most likely retain the price tag of $49 although there are new features. The company will likely launch the new speaker in India in March 2020. You should accept the facts on this article with a pinch of salt.
