Xiaomi is gearing up to launch Redmi Note 8 series including Redmi Note 8 Pro in China on August 29. According to reports, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will ship with 64MP rear camera instead of the 48MP. The handset will offer 25x zooming capability using which you can shoot stunning visuals. The launch of Redmi Note 8 Pro assumes significance with the recent launch of Realme 5 Pro.
The Redmi Note 8 series will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G90T processor instead of Snapdragon. We don’t know whether Xiaomi will integrate Snapdragon processors for shipments to Asian countries like India. The chipset will also provide support for 18W fast charging coupled with liquid cooling technology.
Xiaomi took to Weibo and shared the sample image captured by the Redmi Note 8 Pro. The message states that the image has been captured with a 64MP camera with 9248 x 6936 resolution. The Weibo post reveals that the camera is 7.7 times higher than 4K UHD captures. Moreover, it is 25 times clear when compared to images captured using FHD resolution.
The main attraction of the Redmi Note 8 Pro will be the integration of 64MP quad-camera, which will be capable of shooting 34 percent enhanced optical images. You can zoom up to 25x to capture stunning visuals.
You will be able to record 8K videos with a massive resolution of 9248×6936 pixels. The 64MP rear camera is embedded with a 1/1.7-inch sensor alongside 1.6-micron large pixels.
While the Redmi Note 8 will ship with a 48MP primary sensor, the Redmi Note 8 Pro will offer a 64MP rear camera. The smartphone will also integrate three other cameras to assist the primary camera. Like in the case of the Redmi Note 7 Pro, you can expect 4000mAh battery and Android Pie 9.0 out of the box.
