LG has launched LG Gram laptops powered with Windows 10 Home in India. Touted as lightweight laptops, the LG Gram will be available in 14, 15 and 17-inch display variants. Interestingly, the LG Gram 17 laptop recently won Guinness World Records under the World’s lightest laptop category.
LG Gram 14
The LG Gram 14 laptop is equipped with a 14-inch display, 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD loaded with Windows 10 Home. The laptop measures 995 grams, which is much less than standard laptops. The laptop provides an assured battery backup of 21.5 hours. The laptop will be available on Amazon at an expensive cost of Rs 95000.
LG Gram 15
The LG Gram 15 features a 15.6-inch display, 8th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, 8GB RAM coupled with 256GB SSD storage. You will work with Windows 10 Home and the laptop measures 1099 grams. You will have to pay Rs 98000 to buy LG Gram 15. The Gram series is less in weight but low on storage when you compare with standard laptops.
Commenting on the development, Youn Chul Park, Director-Home Entertainment, LG Electronics India disclosed that the company has designed LG Gram as per the growing needs of consumers. The laptop offers optimum portability with extreme performance and battery life.
LG Gram 17
The LG Gram 17 is integrated with a 17-inch (2560×1600, 16:10) WQXVGA IPS sRGB display, 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor, Intel UHD graphics processor, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD loaded with Windows 10 Home. The laptop is manufactured using US military MIL-STD-810G durability covered with seven resilience factors.
The LG Gram 17 laptop is capable of delivering 19.5 hours of battery upon a single charge. The LG Gram 17 laptop includes a USB Type-C port, three USB 3.1 ports, HDMI port, dual-microphone, backlit keyboard, and a microSD card slot. In addition to the fingerprint sensor, the Gram 17 includes a precision glass touchpad paired with DTS Headphone X audio support. The laptop will b available on Amazon at a whopping price of Rs 126,000.
