Microsoft Windows 10 Update Plagued With Windows Desktop Search Bug

Microsoft Windows 10 update has put brakes on the Windows Desktop Search functionality. According to reports, Microsoft is aware of the situation and is now working on to release a fix for the Windows Desktop Search bug around the middle of September. After the installation of the Windows 10 update, users faced high CPU usage from SearchUI.exe while performing the search operation.

If you had installed the recent Windows 10 version 1903 cumulative KB4512941 update and unable to use the search functionality, you will have to wait until September end to fix the problem. The Redmond-based software giant also added that the Windows Desktop Search bug has caused extreme CPU usage on Windows 10 devices.

In addition to Windows Desktop Search problem, users have been experiencing a wide range of issues after the installation of the updates. There are also reports that Windows 10 users are facing issues with Bluetooth connectivity and hence they are unable to work with speakers and other Bluetooth gadgets.

If you view Sound, video and game controllers node located inside Device Manager, you will notice exclamation mark icon in Yellow color. Microsoft is working to resolve all the pertaining issues associated with Windows 10 update. We will continue to keep track of the developments.
