Apple has launched the much-awaited iPhone 11 series at an event held in California. It has been the habit of Apple to release new iPhone devices in September. The company released iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro including the refreshed smartwatch. In this article, we will take a look at the specifications of the iPhone 11 Pro.


The iPhone 11 Pro is equipped with a 5.8-inch all-screen OLED Super Retina XDR display with a resolution of 2436×1125 and pixel density of 458PPI. The screen bears a contrast ratio of 2,000,000:1 with support for true tone display and haptic touch. The typical max brightness is 800-nits, while the maximum brightness in HDR mode is 1200 nits. The display is resistant to fingerprint oleophobic coating with support for multiple languages and characters.


The iPhone 11 Pro is integrated with A13 Bionic chip paired with third-generation neural engine. Apple has ditched 32GB as default storage variant and introduced 64GB as the base storage. This will help users to store plenty of files. Moreover, the iPhone 11 Pro is also available in 256GB and 512GB storage variants. You will not be able to extend the storage.


Apple is popular for advanced cameras on the iPhone series. The iPhone 11 Pro features triple camera sensors comprising of 12MP ultra-wide, wide and telephone lens. While the ultra-wide camera carries f/2.4 aperture and 120-degree field of view, the wide camera bears f/1.8 aperture. The telephoto lens carries f/2.0 aperture with support for 2x zoom in and zoom out technologies.

You can digital zoom up to 10x with support for portrait mode, advanced bokeh and depth control. You can record 4K videos at 24fps, 30fps, and 60fps including the ability to record FHD videos at 30fps and 60fps. It is possible to record HD videos at 30fps. The smartphone provides support for extended dynamic range for video up to 60fps including optical image stabilization for wide and telephone videos.

The TrueDepth camera offers 12MP camera sensor with f/2.2 aperture with support for 6 effects such as natural, studio, contour, stage, stage mono, high-key mono, animoji, and memoji. You can also record 4K, FHD and HD videos based on the same fps parameters as the rear camera. The camera also provides support for facial recognition.


In addition to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, the iPhone 11 Pro offers support for 4G VoLTE, GPS, GNSS, digital compass, cellular, iBeacon microlocation, and FaceTime audio/video. The smartphone also features barometer, three-axis gyro, accelerometer, proximity, and ambient light sensors respectively.


The iPhone 11 Pro is capable of delivering 4 hours and 5 hours of backup when compared with iPhone XS and iPhone XS MAX smartphones. Apple has bundled 18W charging adapter and can also be charged via USB. The device also provides support for fast charging. You will be able to charge 50 percent within 30 minutes.


The iPhone 11 Pro with 5.8-inch display is available for $999 for the 64GB storage model. The 256GB variant is available for $1149, while the 512GB storage variant will cost $1349 respectively. You can either purchase carrier-specific models or unlocked model.
