Apple TV+ launched in India: Everything you need to know

Apple has officially launched Apple TV+ in India along with several other countries. According to reports, Apple TV+ is currently available in 100 countries globally. You can view the content using devices such as iPhones, iPads, iPod Touch and Mac.

You can also navigate to tv.apple.com to view the programs. As part of the launch offer, you will receive one year of Apple TV+ along with the purchase of iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Mac or iPod Touch.

The TV+service  is available for 7 days free of cost and after that, the cost will be $4.99 per month. As of now, the content available with Apple TV+ is less because the India-specific media content is less. However, you can expect more producers to join the league.

You can watch shows such as See, The Morning Show, Dickinson, For All Mankind, Helpsters, Snoopy in Space, Ghostwriter, and Oprah Winfrey’s Book Club from within the TV+ app. The service also includes The Elephant Queen, which is a short documentary. You can not only watch the programs but also view the subtitles in over 40+ languages.

That being said, the Cupertino-based company is also planning to include Apple TV+ app in Roku TV Stick, Amazon Fire TV Stick and select Smart TVs. You can expect the integration of the app in Xiaomi Mi TVs in the upcoming future via AirPlay 2. The upcoming updates will have iterations to Apple TV+ app. Alternatively, you can also navigate to tv.apple.com on your PC or laptop.
