Xiaomi MIUI 12 rumored to ship with system wide dark mode


Xiaomi is gearing up to integrate system wide dark mode along with the upcoming MIUI 12. Even though MIUI 11 was shipped with dark mode, several smartphones were not updated with the system wide dark mode due to some reasons. However, the forthcoming MIUI 12 will provide support for dark mode all major smartphones.

Back in October 2019, the Xu Jieyun, Xiaomi General Manager of Public Relations announced the availability of the MIUI 12 operating platform. You can expect several new features and improvements along with the MIUI 12. Meanwhile, Xiaomi engineers have ruled out the possibility of competitors like OPPO to take over control of MIUI platform.

The MIUI platform was initially launched in 2014 along with the first edition of Redmi Note. We have been working with this smartphone even today despite low storage. The subsequent MIUI updates saw plenty of new improvements including the addition of Quick Ball.
