Honor has launched the much-awaited Honor 9X in Midnight Black and Sapphire Blue color variants at a launch event held in New Delhi. The main highlight of Honor 9X is the addition of a pop-up selfie camera starting at Rs 13999. Moreover, the handset ships with 128GB as default, which is a big bonus for customers. The company has nicely tapped the market sense by integrating 128GB storage instead of the typical 64GB.
The Honor 9X features a 6.59-inch FHD+ display, Kirin 710F processor and up to 6GB RAM alongside 128GB storage capacities. On the rear, you will find the presence of a 48MP primary camera sensor paired with an 8MP secondary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. The selfie camera offers a 16MP pop-up camera. The sensor will open the pop-up camera upon activation of the camera app.
The company disclosed that the Honor 9X ships with Ultra High ISO, which enables you to capture brilliant low-light performance. Moreover, the Honor 9X also includes AI signal enhancer that improves 4G signal reception by 50 percent. The handset is pre-loaded with EMUI 9.1 on top of Android 9 Pie operating platform. The Honor 9X also includes a headphone port. The device draws power via the embedded 4000mAh battery.
While the 4GB RAM model with 128GB storage is priced at Rs 13999, the 6GB RAM variant will be up for grabs for Rs 16999. The smartphone will be available for sale starting January 19, which coincides with the Flipkart Republic Day Sale. Flipkart is offering the phone for a special price of Rs 12999 only on January 19.
In addition to Honor 9X, the company also launched Honor Band 5i, Honor Magic Watch 2, Honor Sport Pro, Honor Sport Bluetooth earphones that were previously launched in China.
