Motorola slated to launch Moto Razr foldable smartphone on February 6

Motorola is gearing up to launch a foldable smartphone named Moto Razr on February 6. According to reports, the Moto Razr will be available for pre-order starting January 26 for $1499. Verizon Wireless will be the exclusive carrier of the Motorola Razr in the US. You will be able to order it from Verizon, Walmart, and Motorola.com. The media reports reveal that the new smartphone will be available in offline stores starting February 6.

On the specifications front, the Moto Razr will ship with dual displays. The one screen will be inside the device and another screen will be housed outside. The smartphone offers a flexible 6.2-inch OLED display if you unfold it from inside. If you fold the device, you will work with a 2.7-inch OLED display. However, the aspect ration is 4:3, which is very low.

On the front, the Moto Razr offers a 16MP sensor placed on the Quick View display. If you unfold the device, you will be able to view it as a rear camera including another 5MP camera. The camera sensor provides support for LED Flash, EIS, Dual Pixel autofocus, Color Correlated Temperature (CCT) and Laser AF technologies.

The phone runs on Snapdragon 710 processor, 6GB RAM, and 128GB storage. We don’t expect the company to launch a 4GB RAM model since the device is tagged as a premium. You can expect battery capacity between 3000mAh and 4000mAh capacities. We will continue to keep track of the developments. Stay tuned.
