Amazon has launched Echo Show 8 amidst the Coronavirus scare. The company had launched Echo Show 5 in July 2019 during Amazon Prime Day. The main highlight of the Echo Show 8 is the integration of an 8-inch HD display. You will be able to view content on a big screen.
As the name suggests, the Echo Show 8 works via Amazon Alexa coupled with stereo sound technology. You can ask queries, weather, listen to the news, songs including the ability to watch movies from Amazon Prime Video.

With the help of Show 8, you can stream music from Amazon Prime Music, JioSaavn, Voot, Gaana, Saavn, and Hungama. It is also possible to establish connectivity with other Echo devices. You can also manage smart devices such as security cameras, control lights, and other appliances. You can disconnect the microphones and camera with the click of a button. You just need to slide the integrated shutter to cover the camera.
Just in the case of other Echo devices, you can extend the functionality with the help of Alexa Skills. You can listen to All India Radio stations and listen to entertainment news and play games. The main difference is that in Echo Show 8, you can watch the actions you are doing, which is not possible with Echo Dot and devices without display. The Echo Show 8 consists of power and headphone ports respectively including four microphones.
As part of the launch offer, Amazon Echo Show 8 can be added to the shopping cart for Rs 8999. The price will increase after the pre-order period. If you would like to be part of the smart speaker community, you should buy the latest Gadget from Amazon.
