With just a few hours left for the launch of the Redmi Note 9 Pro, the images of the handset have been leaked on the wild by a Vietnamese based YouTuber. According to rumors, Xiaomi is scheduled to release three variants of the Redmi Note 9. While the standard version will have Helio G70 processor, the Redmi Note 9 pro will be powered by a powerful Snapdragon 720G processor. The company is also rumored to release Redmi Note 9 Pro Max.
As per the leaked images, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will boast a 6.64-inch IPS FHD+ display. The smartphone will offer a punch-hole design located on the top center position instead of the left corner as in other standard devices. Xiaomi will surely ditch the dewdrop to pave way for additional screen real estate.
The bezels are not thin as expected but you can’t expect advanced features for a budget handset. With 20 MP selfie snapper, the speaker finds the place on the top bezel of the device. Unlike the Redmi Note 8 Pro, the Redmi Note 9 Pro offers a fingerprint sensor on the power button instead of the rear side.
A square-shaped module houses the camera sensor with a 64MP primary camera. You can expect three additional cameras with an ultrawide, macro lens and depth sensors respectively. The leaked image reveals the internal PCB with four cameras in square shape. We can also spot the battery punched on to the device.
The leaked image of the Geekbench benchmarking stats is also available via the YouTuber. It seems that the Youtuber has access to the upcoming smartphone via various sources.
In addition to the dedicated microSD card, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will provide support for the traditional headphone port. Moreover, the addition of a USB Type-C port helps you to quickly charge the smartphone. As the name suggests, the Pro variant will have a powerful processor, which will be most likely Snapdragon 730G. The smartphone borrows power via a 5020mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
The Redmi Note 9 Pro will be available in 4GB and 6GB RAM options with 64GB and 128GB storage variants. The device will be available in Interstellar Black, Glacier White, and Aurora Blue color variants. While the Redmi Note 9 will cost INR 10999, the Redmi Note 9 Pro will be priced at RS 14999. The increase in price is due to the decline in the supply chain due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
