Windows 10 version 2004 gets better with 5th cumulative update

Microsoft has issued Windows 10 Version 2004 5th cumulative update for Windows Insiders in the Slow ring. The Redmond-based giant has tagged the update as 20H1 Build 19041.172 (KB4552455) and ships with quality improvements related to a Windows key.

The Windows 10 Version 2004 5th update prevents an issue associated with the Windows logo key + J keyboard shortcut from providing focus to certain Windows tips. If you had issues with Windows + J key, the problem would have resolved after the installation of the update.

According to Microsoft, the Narrator and NVDA users could face difficulty with the latest release of Microsoft Edge Chromium build. You will face issues related to the reading and navigation of web content. The Microsoft Edge, NVDA and Narrator product teams are aware of this problem.

The company made it clear that legacy Microsoft Edge users won’t be affected. You should also note that NVccess has already released an NVDA 2019.3, which resolves the issues pertaining to the Microsoft Edge Chromium build.

You will receive the notification when the update is available on Windows 10 Version 2004. You can either perform the update straight away or can pause for up to 7 days. It will take nearly 30 minutes to one hour for your system to complete the update process depending upon the configuration of your system. We would suggest you to capture backup of your valuable data so that you can restore if there any problem during the update.
