Vodafone India has announced that 2G customers in Haryana with feature phones will be able to perform quick recharges via SMS and missed calls. The purpose of this initiative is to enable customers to stay connected even during the lockdown.

The retail outlets are closed during the lockdown period and hence this mechanism will be highly beneficial for the 2G customers in Haryana. The company sources revealed to us that customer service personnel are going an extra mile to assist customers because of the lockdown. The 2G customers in Haryana can now recharge at Idea retail outlets and Idea customers can avail recharge at Vodafone retail outlets.

To perform the recharge process, customers in Haryana should send an SMS from their registered mobile number. You will have to give a missed call to a designated number in some cases.

The Vodafone Idea 2G recharge facility is currently live and can be used by customers using their registered mobile numbers.
