WhatsApp has rolled out a new feature to increase the Group call limit for iPhone users. The WhatsApp v2.20.50 for iPhone provides group calling functionality with support for up to eight participants. To work with this new feature, you should install the latest version of WhatsApp by navigating to Apple App Store. You need not have to perform manual updation if you have activated the auto-update feature. The update brings in significant improvements including an updated message action menu.
To initiate group call, you need to navigate to the desired group and click on the Call button located on the top right side. If the concerned group has more than eight participants, WhatsApp will prompt you to select the contacts you would like to call. If the group has less than 8 participants, then the video call will be initiated directly.
